I had to pay for shipping. I have asked for a refund of the shipping, but havn't heard yet.
I'm not happy with the customer service at all. Meantime, there has been no refund at all.
The cable arrived deffective. The company says they don't refund shipping at all, either way.
The whole thing has been a rediculous red tape nightmare. It was a very cumbersome porcess to send it back.
I believe that my credit shoould include shipping both ways.
Not typical Sony quality. It always happens about 30-40 min after starting so I think it something overheating. Nevertheless, it won't last long enought to get through even a short movie. I really enjoyed this unit. Very dissappointing. I always used headphones without complaint. For a portable, the picture quality was reasonable. About 1 year after buying it (and taking very good care of it), it would start to freeze.
One of the best units on the market. I love the size of the unit and the fact that I get over 6 hours of active use with the battery -- great for those long flight to Europe. I have had mine for over 6 months and it works like a charm.
It's her most favorite birthday present, ever. It has a beautiful picture and clear sound. I bought this for my daughter, and she loves it. She would rather watch DVDs instead of tv now.
I even tried some of the hacks provided in the net.I am just waiting to upgrade the firmware if possible to make it multi region player. This piece didnt work in India , tried indian cd's/dvd's(region 5) but of no use.
